Rebranding Concept

Inclusive design for visually impaired people in the context of crafts. The aim was to analyze and redesign HORNBACH's existing branding to enable all people to perceive the design on an equal footing. In the process, accessibility becomes the central design factor for creating an inclusive brand experience.

Branding

We developed a modular furniture system for which a diverse and fun corporate design was created. The branding was based on the footprint of the furniture, with flexible shapes in the logo system and colorful key visuals to a colorful POS.

Urban Outdoor Aid

Branding Concept

The solution to the extreme winter conditions for homeless people lies in the trend of urban outdoor fashion. Urban Outdoor Aid (UOA) is a non-profit online store. UOA leverages the expertise of the homeless, creates awareness through interactive content on the website, and relies on an unconventional design to stand out from traditional fashion labels.

Refresh of the web presence of the fragrance classic

The classic fragrance needs a more modern web presence and a new webshop. In cooperation with the agency ZWEIPRO, a new web presence was thus created that can communicate the emotional components of the diverse fragrances.

During my internship at the Peter-Schmidt Group, I developed the concept and design for the appearance of the Specialized Cup (S-Cup for short), an event sponsored by the bicycle manufacturer Specialized.

Yu Ting-Liu briefs a website for his leap into self-employment and ends up with an image/video concept that brings his identity and story to life in the form of rendered objects.

Type Design

Complementing the work show of the winter semester 2019/20, the variable font V22 was created, which is based on the classic P22 by Herbert Bayer and complements an exhibition work about Laszlo Moholy-Nagy and his light space modulator on the occasion of the Bauhaus centenary.

MARTIN

Rebranding & Website

As a freelancer at the design office ZWEIPRO in Düsseldorf, I was significantly involved in the relaunch of the MARTIN brand presence. The main focus was on adapting the website to the latest innovations of the manufacturer of woodworking machines and, for example, optimizing the experience for customers by means of a machine configurator.

Machine configurator

Woodworking machines are not only a large investment, but also an emotional product with which a carpenter works every day - comparable to automobiles. In order to explain the complex machines of the MARTIN brand in a comprehensible way and to optimize the experience for customers even before the purchase, ZWEIPRO conceptualized, designed and supported the technical implementation of a configurator.

Human Machine Interface

The new control concept of the MARTIN brand is a unique innovation for woodworking machines. The machine can be accessed from any location via an iPad Pro. I was involved in the interface design - which won a German Design Award - for this control system at ZWEIPRO.
